Weimaraner (whime a rhiner)
Weimaraners are known as weims or gray ghosts. This breed was used in Germany, first as a big game hunter and then as a bird dog. Developed
originally as a gentlemen's private sporting dog and companion; the breed is now bred for field trials and sportsmen.
Weims are very intelligent and can learn about anything, but have a lot of energy and need to be exercised regularly. They are beautiful
with the slick shiny coat.
Weim's temperament and trainability make them an excellent watchdog, home companion, and child's pal. The weimaraner can and will if trained
to do almost anything any other breed can do and do it well.
